ITTT Online TEFL/TESOL Course

My name is Brittni and I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was very young. As an adult, I managed to make my way overseas for a vacation for myself to see and experience the culture that I found myself at home with. Spending a month in South Korea and in various locations in Japan, I found myself wanting to combine my dream of teaching and living overseas. While doing research on the possibilities of both, I discovered ITTT online TEFL course.
I looked at reviews and the different options of courses, and man was it a little overwhelming. Trying to figure out which route was best for me. At the time there was a deal and I was able to do 3 courses for under $300, which would just make me more marketable when job hunting. I finished the main course and now working to complete the last two before the end of the year. I have learned so much to better myself as a teacher. Better approaches, better-thinking strategies, anticipating problems that might occur, and even new looks at setting up lessons plans. The courses even provide information and guides that you can print out and use if you would like. This benefit made it very relaxing and less stressful as the thought of teaching overseas came to mind. This was the first time I did any school work online as I am used to being in a classroom learning. The new environment was different but ITTT made it very comfortable for the learner and made it to where it goes to the pace of the learning.
As my courses come to a close I will be job hunting and have started reading reviews of others who have taken the course and made it to their locations of interest. I have not run across any reviewer that any negative thoughts about where they were or experiences they have encountered. Reading nothing but positive and motivating reviews drive me to be the next awesome one as well. I hope this review helps push others to try something new and expand new adventures.

I learned so much from this course. It gave very practical and helpful instruction for ESL teaching. When I finished, I felt prepared to teach and got a job shortly after teaching business ESL. I have had very positive reviews from my students and I believe that more effective teaching came be accredited from my training with this program.
Also, the program was very affordable, so I believe that I received so much for the little amount that I paid.

Parts of this course seem simple when you read the unit material, when you get to the test at the end of the unit they make you pay better attention for subsequent units. I started with the 60 hours and then upgraded to the 120 hour after completing the 60. The advantage was having to write two lesson plans that were evaluated and both sent back for refinement. This is not a rubber stamp get your certificate program. It is more robust than that.

The ITTT online program was an excellent fit for me while teaching overseas. Even though I came into the program with an educational background and licensure, there were new methodologies and strategies that I gained from this course. After completing the program, additional doors opened for me, in terms of job searches and countries that were interested in my skillset.

I totally recommend this course for working expat faculty and those who are considering teaching overseas, or even an ESL/ELL position in the states.

Thank you for this opportunity to study and learn from a qualified program with interesting and useful content. In the years since I have completed my TEFOL certificate, I have continued to look back at the materials to get ideas or to give guidance. It has been a valuable resource, and I am grateful for the experience (in addition to the added benefit of being able to put it on my resume!) Overall, I learned many things from my experience during this course, but I think the most useful part was the game and activity ideas. I have referred back to these more than anything else.

So I met my wife in the USA - we both worked on cruise ships. We agreed to live, I planned to retire from clinical medicine, in Chiang Rai. We bought a house and went out to celebrate with a friend. She comes out with "they have started a new medical school in Mae Fah Luang University, an English curriculum. You used to teach medical students. You should apply for the job". " what job?" " You live here. You are a physician. They must need you!"
So back to the ship for a final contract. I had prepared and left a standard CV and paper work at the university. An e-mail. An interview on my return to Thailand. And suddenly full employment as a lecturer.
Better get a teaching diploma thought I, at least then I might know what I am doing. So an online ITTT course over December and Christmas.
I found to my surprise that I enjoyed the course. Direct, practical information, not easy but again not so difficult.
So then an up to date lecturer commenced work and 5 years later.....

After making the decision to travel for extended periods, I knew that teaching English in non-English speaking countries would be a way to finance my travels. I was in Central Africa at the time, so the online course was great. After doing some online research, I found ITTT and felt that this was the way to go. I was able to access the materials at my convenience and was able to complete the course very quickly. Their website was easy to navigate and it was a step by step program, finish one step and go to the next. Even though I had purchased the course with tutor support, I did not have to use the tutors. The teaching materials were informative and easy to understand. On completion of the course, they send the certificate very quickly.
Since that time, I have shown my certificate to all of my employer and have been continuously been employed as an English Teacher for 3 1/2 years!

The online ITTT Tefl course has done great thing in my teaching profession. Taking the ITTT Tefl course is a great privilege and a plus to my career because it improves my skills and knowledge as an English tutor. The online training permits me to partake in the course from where I am located and at my own convenient time,even though the internet connection might be challenging in rare occasion. The content at each unit is well understood and explained .
