ITTT Online TEFL/TESOL Course

Hi. My name is Herman Tembo from Zimbabwe. I am an ICT professional, single and 41. I recently got bitten by the travel bug. So I figured what better way to do it than to switch to a career that allows for that sort of thing and yet also gives me an opportunity to impact others positively. That’s ESL Teaching of course! I decided to do it right the first time by getting TEFL certified by the best. So as of Feb 2019, I am TEFL Certified by ITTT through their online course. The course material and content was thorough and up to standard. The resources and support during and after the course are second to none; not to mention the wide range of courses to select from and unbeatable rates. To top it off, you get access to lesson plans and other cool platforms. I have no qualms about doing my next course with them and won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to start off well as an ESL Teacher or to further their studies.

It was an amazing journey completing the 120 hour online TEFL course with ITTT. With well defined instructions and assistance, the course was actually a success!
I found lessons to be perfectly designed in such a way that it keeps the learners interested throughout the course. And when talking about the support system, I couldn’t be more impressed! Apart of FAQs and details, online support is also very effective and quick in assisting all types of queries and doubts. Which helped me in completing the course successfully in a short period of time, that too with a score of 93% . Inspite of having teaching experience in abroad, I learned so many teaching skills and techniques that I wasn’t aware of. So, I am actually happy that I opted this course! And I look forward to a brighter and fun filled teaching journey!

I chose the ITTT 220-hour online Master Package course, which includes the 120-hour TEFL Certification Course, 50-hour course in Business English as well as as 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners. It was a wonderful course which provided me with remarkable knowledge in regards to English teaching, methods, materials and techniques. It was aslo a great balance between the knowledge I had already had and new ideas. All materials were very clear, precise and eye-opening and as a non-professional English teacher, I believe this course greatly inspired me and urged me to embark smoothly on my adventure. Besides this, I would like to stress the assistance I received by the staff whenever I faced some difficulties along the course. I highly reccommend it to everyone!

Completing ITTT online TEFL course was challenging and fun! The structure of the course and that it was available online, gave me the flexibility that I needed to get my certification. The staff have been helpful, answering my queries almost immediately and the course has provided me with more information than I could have hoped for. Although I was initially, frightened of the grammar lessons, having remembered all those gruesome hours of endless grammar rules in the classroom, I was surprised and extremely happy to see that there are fun, enagaging ways to teach grammar. I was also fascinated by the lesson on phonetics and the phonetic alphabet. Links to infomation, material and content are given throughout the course, which has been extremely helpfull. The information I gained from the course was incredible value for money.

It took me six months to finish the course at a leisurely pace ,even though I was quite caught up with finishing it in the end . It was quite informative and instructive. I am happy that I have done this course as the teaching methods were quite interesting and recreational as well as being educational and enlightening . I've had the chance to exploit on the methods in English class and it had been embraced by my students . The warm up techniques and making the classes more student centered via the different activities make a difference when eliciting interest.

Moving to Asia was the best decision I could have ever made. I decided to move to Taiwan from Peru in 2005 and, 13 years later, I am still here. I learned how to teach by observing other teachers in action. Later on I added my own flavor to all I could absorb from said teachers. However this wasn’t enough. I needed the credentials o back up my experience. I must admit that it took me a minute but hey, they say better late than never right?I took the 120 hrs online TEFL program for I had the experience but not the credentials to back them up. I must say that I am very pleased with the lessons content and how they are presented.
I would recommend this program to anyone interested in getting proper TEFL or TESOL certifications.

I took the ITTT course to advance my life, to press towards a vision I had of myself in the future. My end goal and vision for taking the course was to use English teaching as an opportunity to be self-employed and teach in any country of my choice, to possess my work. I could not have afforded the course on my own, so I used it as a bargaining chip with a prospective employer. In our negotiation for my salary at the school, I added in the cost of furthering my education to teach ESL courses in order to connect with the potential Latin demographic at the school, I would get the job and become the school's Ambassador and teach elective courses. The course not only provided me with the tools necessary to teach my electives when I worked in traditional education it also gave me the independence I desired and envisioned to teach remotely. I now teach English as a Second Language online and I live in Bogota, Colombia. I get to teach students from all around the world and live my dream of being a global citizen while pursuing international business.

The course gave me the confidence to start teaching online, and with this confidence I was able to take the risk of living abroad and being sustained by teaching. For this, I say the course is worth taking, it can provide exponential benefits if you're willing to put it utilize the tools they provide. I loved that there were videos for every Lesson as well as a printable PDF texts I could save and refer back to anytime I needed. The course is full of practical examples, worksheets, and teaching tools to help you start teaching ESL classes immediately. This course has forever changed my life and I hope to gift younger students with this course to hep them create future opportunities for themselves.

I took the 120-hour coursework and found the units to be simple and easy to digest, with both familiar and new information. It was a nice recap for the bits of information that I was already aware of and an eye opener for the information that was new to me. Having access to the Units should I ever need to go back to them is a lifesaver and a great tool. Overall my experience was pleasant and I could work on my own time during the weekends when I wasn't working. One of the things I most enjoyed out of the course was finding ways to implement some piece of information or new class activity into my day to day classes. I often found the resources found in several Unit chapters to be helpful and a fun way to break up the pace of the classroom. The only thing I would say could improve could be in its human element. I once had a question about the end of course lesson plan. Specifically sections of the lesson plan that had confused me considering it was hypothetical. (Like time and supervisor.) I wanted to be sure that there wasn't some required information that had to be filled in these sections that I might have missed so I asked the customer service about my doubt and was dryly responded with nothing except that I needed to purchase the specific lesson plan support service for my question to be answered. Another bit of friction came when I actually sent the lesson plan. My response listed several mistakes I had made and had to improve upon, but if I'm honest a lot of the recommendations were already in my original lesson plan. It seemed to me that I had to dumb down the lesson plan in order for it to be considered "correct". But besides these singular events, I would recommend the program to anyone who wishes to acquire a TEFL or TESOL certificate.
