I have been teaching English for 1,5 years and finally did my TEFL. I finished the course in one week, studying for one hour per night. I liked the theory and practical tips that the material had. After studying I tried couple of the activities in my lessons and children love them. It's great to finally have a proper knowledge about English as a Second Language teaching - it makes me more confident as a teacher! And of course, I'm happy to receive my certificate in the end. And it wasn't expensive!

Being 35 allowed to face new "what am I doing with my life" type of anxieties. I have a corporate job, but I realized a need a plan B (and C and D and E), and it was teaching English. I have limited a skillset, but English is included, so why not. However after the course I realized that I had still much to learn about the English language, so new anxieties arrived to my life. I really enjoyed learning and it was fun, I'm just not sure how I would manage with this new knowledge, but will see this in the future :)

What would you improve about this program?

I missed some interactive exercises. The test are goods, however they became boring after some time. Some games would be also fun.

there are only classical tests, but no other type of exercises to measure understanding

After completing my TESOL course with World Tesol Academy, I am thrilled to share my positive experience. It introduced me to new and sophisticated concepts like the Z conditional and third conditional, which were both insightful and authentic, and were not part of my prior education in China. this is one of the best Tesol course i came across, it fun and engaging and really affordable, the course details are what you need to understand and able to teach, the quiz at the end of each modules were spot on and helps you learn more, the final exam was also perfect to check the knowledge. i am very happy to take this course and more happy to have passed it and i hope to travel around the world sharing my knowledge which i gained through this course, i would suggest everyopne who wishes to teach english should do this course.

I'm Abdelouahd and I've been teaching English for seven years now, I took this course to brush up on my teaching skills but I was astonished by how much I have learnt from it. It's a very informative course that provides you with everything you need to teach English either online or overseas with an affordable cost of course. It is easy to navigate through and the way it is designed helps you process the information much better and store it in your long term memory. I just love it! I highly recommend this course!

A very valuable course with lots of beneficial new information, skills and experience, which kept me motivated to complete it as soon as possible so i can start implementing in my future career.
I'd like to suggest this course to anyone who prefers to have quick and accessible yet simple and necessary knowledge at any time of the day. With this amount of resources I believe it will be very easy to achieve success in teaching English to non-native students, both in an overseas and online classroom environment

I particularly enjoyed the lessons on learning styles and motivating students. They have helped me to understand and connect more with my students.
I began teaching last year with a strict and no-nonsense approach. However, there was a particular lesson that advised teachers to smile and have fun, and the students will enjoy the classes more.
I adopted that approach when the new term began in September, and it really transformed my classes so much that I was voted best teacher by most of my students in October.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

My most nerve-racking moment was preparing for the final exam and I overcame it by reviewing my study notes thoroughly and retaking all the quizzes from module 1 to 7.

I expected some quizzes to be tougher.
Some end-of-lesson quizzes did not comprehensively cover the entire lesson content
The final exam should be timed.

Everybody says it took them less than two weeks to finish this course but it took my almost 4 months to complete it with my newborn baby and busy work schedule but yet it is so nice to refresh my knowledge and I realised I knew almost nothing about online teaching. It was a great experience to learn. I definetly recommend this course anyone who is keen on teaching and learning. But I was expecting videos to watch especiallay during my busy hours there was no videos if there were videos to watch it would be better. Thank you

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
